I was rummaging around old files from my pre-college days, and found something worth adding to the Downloads page: a working copy of Wordstar 5. (Link is at bottom of page, under Really Old Stuff.) Does anyone still remember using that?

Along with it, I found a pair of unfinished drafts for Star Trek novels I wrote in early high school. Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I was ever such a campy fanboy: One is about a feline alien doctor assigned to the Enterprise (old series) to revisit his home planet, while the other is about a human on the Next-Gen Enterprise who mutates into a rat. Hee hee! The quality of my writing back then was so embarassing it gives me goosebumps to read it today. I sure hope there are no stray printouts left out there to shame me.

I’m still debating on whether I should put them up here on my site, sort of a therapeutic purge surge. What do you think?
