EB at Power Plant

Just had an EB lunch at Press Cafe, Power Plant, with ClickMoMukhaMo, Mrs. ClickMoMukhaMo, Kanto Girl Blues, Taym Matsing, and NowhereVille (with her not-yet-blogging bro). There, I blogged it, and within fifteen minutes of finishing lunch, too. :D And this PLDT DSL station is fast.

Unfortunately, the two photos will have to wait until I’ve finished this 36-shot roll of film, which should take the better part of three or four months. Till then… EB tayo uli!

Kaanib flame part 4

More Kaanib.net hilarity. The funny part is that his accusation consists of pasting my anti-ADD entries into the board again and again. That’s sort of like a Catholic priest handing out anti-Catholic tracts at Mass to explain how evil Jack Chick tracts are. ;D

TwoTwoTwo

It is now 02/02/02.

Let the rhymes ensue.

Starting with… you!

Cheney with knife

“Okay, Mr. Cheney, just give us the Enron documents. Easy now, sir, just give them to us calmly. No, no, put that knife down. Don’t do it, Mr. Vice-President, don’t- AH! AAAGGHHRRGHKK!!!”

(Psycho shower theme in background.)

AIM blocks Trillian

Aw crud. Even if I upgrade, AIM’s going to find a way to block newer versions. You AIM users may not see me online for a while. Why not switch to something else?

Update: Later versions of Trillian no longer have this problem.

(Anyway, anyone up to reading a sizzling romance? ;))

Hittin’ Bullets

US aircraft hit by small arms fire. Whoa. And this was over mainland Luzon, not Basilan. While we may be sadly insensitive to news of Filipino soldiers dying in firefights with the NPA and the Abu Sayyaf, even just a small incident like this is big news for Americans, isn’t it? I wonder whether it was just a freak accident of some drunk firing his gun into the air, or if an armed insurgent actually knew the purpose of the plane passing over at the time.

Is the solid excrement about to hit the rotary ventilation?

Girl Scout Cookies

Girl Scout cookies, anyone? Which of course brings up that old joke: If peanut butter cookies are made from peanut butter, then what are Girl Scout Cookies made from?

<homersimpson>”Mmmm, Girl Scouts…”</homersimpson>

Greenbelt Tape 2

I passed through Greenbelt Mall again yesterday, and the mysterious TV was missing from beside the up-escalator. There was, however, a small piece of paper taped to the floor where it had been. This is what it said:

“Walking the Length of the Tape,” by Ronald C. Anading, Mixed Media, 2001.

Interesting, eh? That means he literally walked that escalator like a trout in the rapids for a whole roll. Was it Standard Play or Extended Play, I wonder? Good thing he wasn’t “Walking the Length of the Disc” on a DVD-R at 2 mbps. Otherwise he might have been walking for a good four to five hours. With pixelated jaggies on video, no less.
