Wi-Fi!
I’m blogging this from my laptop via Wi-Fi, on a wireless PC card borrowed from my boss so I can test if remote CVS runs on this thing. It was really easy to set up, and it works up to 300 feet away. Dude, I’m like, totally wireless, man. Almost 200KB/sec. This is so kewl!
Okay, back to work.
(And no, you may not park outside the house and start leeching off our bandwidth.)
Huwag Po Lolo
Cla has an article on ups and downs in the Filipino movie industry. What truly amuses me is that, while pornographic and over-violent Tagalog cinema continues to shovel brainless dreck into the minds of the Filipino masses, a Filipino Catholic women’s movie review board is saying that the Powerpuff Girls Movie is “violent and morally disturbing.”
The Powerpuff Girls.
What, no harsh words for local productions like Huwag Po Lolo, Masakit na Masakit, or God forbid, any movie with Kris Aquino and/or Robin Padilla?

Traficant Expelled
I looked out my window last night to see the light atop the Capitol Dome shining, and I wondered what Congress was doing up so late.
History of the Hamburger
Now that this is gone, it should be “safe” to blog NPR’s History of the Hamburger. Ironically enough, this link comes via hotdogblog.
Superman, c. 1938
Action Comics #1, with the first-ever appearance of Superman.
How times have changed.
Oh, fine…
Seeing as how I can’t stay away, I’ve decided I’m not on hiatus. Rather, I’m on Reduced Blogging Frequency (RBF).
(Geez, I’m worse than a camgirl…)
Zend and Mushrooms
Two things I *heart* right now:
1. Portobello Mushrooms. Bursting with full, mushroomy flavor. Perfect in a Firehook Portobello sandwich with lettuce and mozzarella cheese.
2. Zend Studio 2.5. Rich and delicious, overflowing with savory PHP goodness. Full-control debugging and inbuilt PHP function tooltips add spice. Downside: doesn’t go well with PHP 4.2.2. Yet.
Where’s George?
I just got two “Where’s George?” dollars.
Update: Those of you looking for Wilfred, check out Where’s Willy?”
