Afternoon with Kyriosity

Following worship at church today, Valerie and I broke Sabbath by walking around Towson Town Center and indulging ourselves in idolatrous worldly materialism at the Apple Store.

I scoped out iBook accessories, and got some questions on handhelds answered by the Apple cultists store staff. We also looked at The Dane in IE6/Win98 on VirtualPC, and I contemplated leaving VirtualPC open in fullscreen mode to see if anyone would panic at seeing Win98 running on a Mac G4’s monitor.

We also ate Japanese. It was good.

Comments

  1. Shame on you two! Boy that Greek Omlet at Little Athens in Sewickley, Pa was to die for…….(:

  2. Kyriosity says:

As I explained to Paulo, since he doesn’t have a car, my driving him to Towson was an act of mercy, and therefore allowable on the Sabbath. And he was the one drooling over the produce section (get it? Apples…produce?). I am above such worldly materialism myself, no matter what Paulo says about my interest in a certain jewelry store window. ;^)

Ran into Barukatash at a Reformation Sunday service tonight and got to meet Harrison–what a cutie-patootie!

  3. Paulo says:

Heh, weren’t we just talking about meeting up with Barukatash and Harrison? We really all ought to get together with Dean and Wyclif sometime.

  4. Noelle says:

    *gasp* You ate JAPANESE?

    Soylent Green is people!

    :D

  5. Kyriosity says:

    Ewwwwwwwwww!!!!!! ;^p
