Oh, great. Now GeoCities is causing problems with Blogger. Now I’m definitely moving. I shall disappear for a few weeks. And this page will disappear soon, too. Many things shall change.
No SSI on Geocities
Argh. Stupid of me. GeoCities doesn’t support SSI. I’m going to have to move this page elsewhere again. Well, I’ll make a design for this location just for now, but in a few weeks — or maybe months — it’s moving. My vision for this personal page seriously needs some INCLUDE tags if it’s going to have the scatterbrained variety I want it to have. Maybe back to Hypermart? We’ll see.
I still want to do something with this webspace, though. I have an idea: a site archive. “A Brief History of Brownpau,” maybe?
Moving from Occipital Drippings
I am removing ( think ) occipital drippings from SimpleSight. While the concept of a regularly updated design “playground” sounds fun, I have too much work and too many online projects to maintain such a feature. As you can see, all that I’ve managed to put up is the blog, and nothing else.
I do so enjoy the blogger concept, though, so no worries about no longer being able to peek into my life; this blog is moving to my new personal page. See you there!
A hiatus
I won’t be blogging for a while. My computer’s fine now, but I shall be gone for a time, as I redesign and relocate this page. Goodbye for now, fellow bloggers. Worry yourselves not. I will be back in a few weeks’ time with a new concept and realization of my online presence.
Farewell for now.
No Win2K for you!
Ah, there we go. After struggling with hardware incompatibilities which prevented me installing Win2000 on this machine, I simply decided to go back to Win98. Lots to do, lots to do.
Drop Think?
I’m thinking of transferring this blog to my upcoming personal page in Geocities and just dropping the “Think” section from Simplesight completely; maybe leave Simplesight more static so I can focus on other web projects. There’s a lot happening. I just purchased the domain pula.ph, and I’m looking for a suitable web host for the new FB4F page.
At the same time, I want to put up a less stiff personal page for myself, because now that I’m securely and stably employed, there’s less need to “market” my skills and talents. Now I can change the look and feel of my personal “brand” to something … more bloggable, maybe?
Nationwide Power Blackout
There was a nationwide power blackout this morning, so we just sat in the office fanning ourselves wondering when the power would come back. Tiff and I had pasta and flambeed crepes for lunch, and when I got back to the office, it was back to fanning ourselves and wondering when the power would come back. Well, obviously, the power just came back. Yippee.
FB4F at the Philippine Web Awards
FB4F made it to the Philippine Web Awards’ semi-finalists! in the Cause-Oriented and Education categories! That makes me happy. = )
silvergrrl’s poll
Poor silvergrrl is lamenting the lack of interested souls to vote in her online polls and read her blog. Why not go and cheer her up by clicking here? For me, it’s the pizza-video-candles.
The other Simplesight
Hey, there’s another SimpleSight on the web! A couple of guys from Wales. I don’t want to say anything about their page; You’ll just have to see it for yourself. Enjoy.
