Nonplus and Dean Mack

I’ve been adding a lot of new links in the background, including but not limited to Stepan, the guy behind Blogtree; and Dean, head of the Baltimore blogger group. (No, I’m not in Baltimore just yet, but I’m moving in two weeks.)

Those of you who are wondering why your link doesn’t appear in the list, remember that the main index blogroll chooses 25 blogs randomly everytime you load. The full list of linked blogs can be viewed on the links page.

Accidental Shekinah

After service, I tried a few snaps of the church’s stained glass windows. They came out okay, but I didn’t expect the sun shining through the glass to completely wash out the Crucified Lord’s head in a blaze of white. Oops.

Today’s readings of the Old and New Testament lessons at church were done by a pair of young English children, complete with dainty, refined country English accents. Absolutely delightful. Some tea?

Blogtree

Blogtree aims to build a “genealogy” of blogs, based on who inspired who to start blogging, using a “parent-sibling” analogy to trace relationships. I’ve also posted this link to BlogRoots. (Thanks to Vix for the link.)

So who got you to start blogging? Me, I started in September 2000, after Raffy told me about it. That makes him my Papa. Here’s my “pedigree.”

Dogs and Cats Living Together

Speaking of the endtimes, where exactly does the Bible mention “dogs and cats living together” as a sign of the end of the world? I can’t seem to find the verse.

Or have I just been watching too much Ghostbusters?

Key quote follows:

Stantz: “Real wrath-of-God-type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming from the sky! Rivers and seas boiling!”

Spengler: “Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes! Volcanoes!”

Zeddemore: “The dead rising from the grave!”

Venkman: “Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!”
