“Choose Death.”

“Choose Life” plates unconstitutional, because they provide an “unfair forum” for abortion foes. Well, if you want to have a fair forum for all sides, let’s have “Kill the Fetuses” license plates too. That should make everyone happy.

  1. Richard says:

    Kang: Abortions for all.

    [crowd boos]

Very well, no abortions for anyone.

    [crowd boos]

Hmm… Abortions for some, miniature American flags for

    others.

[crowd cheers and waves miniature flags]

I favour the Al Gore solution to abortion: reduce the situations in which a choice between abortion and keeping the baby arises. That is, reduce crime, educate teens about pregnancy and safe sex/abstinence. It’s the Hard Way, though, but nobody wants to have an abortion. But I favour the “Choose Life” slogan above all others, even though it will never be my choice to make, in the end (since it will never be ‘my’ body).

  2. Raffy says:

Bottom line is, we can tell people not to kill their babies, but just like Richard said, it’s ultimately up to the women who carry these babies.

But I think that just as these women have the “right” to have abortions, that the government should also have the right to comprehensively inform them of the procedure and aftermath, for informational purposes, if or when they decide they want to get one. I doubt they’ll be emotionally detached enough to ignore the pictures and detailed retellings of the procedure and dead fetuses. I mean, just how cruel do you have to be to ignore the reality that you’re putting an infant to death?

And they should really think about producing some of those “Kill the Fetuses” license plates for real. Let’s see who’s really willing to drive around with it.
