Starbucks is going wireless. Check this FAQ for details and locations on their upcoming Wi-Fi service. Too bad; DC and MD aren’t on the list yet.

    Paulo, I can’t get anything when I check that link, it just comes up blank. Is there any place listed in the Chicago area?

    Oops, the page I linked seems to have gone away. I can’t remember seeing Chicago in the list, unfortunately. Ask your local Starbucks manager; I’m sure s/he’ll know.

    Hey Pao, have you seen this Wired article? Apparently, the anti-establishment, coffee-loving digerati here in San Francisco are unimpressed. Personally, I’d rather use Kinko’s FREE T1 service for my laptop via wired ethernet (only because I’m cheap and I don’t have an 802.11 PCMCIA card).
