Proposal venue was the Mary Livingston Ripley Garden beside the Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building: teeming with flowers, picturesque and historic, with nice little winding nooks for privacy. Lovely place. We're engaged!

Congrats. We just celebrated our 15th anniversary last week - and I can still remember the moment I slid the engagement ring on her finger like it was yesterday. If I could remember the name of the restaurant...
30 seconds after navigating away I suddenly remembered the name of that restaurant. I think the garden behind you in the picture must have triggered something in my subconscious, because garden is in the name of the restaurant.
Now if I could just remember why I wanted to remember this last week ;)

Heh - that's funny Paulo. It was Little Gardens, a very nice restarurant in an old antebellum style plantation house in Lilburn VA. We were supposed to have a private table upstairs for dinner, but the heat was out upstairs, so we ended up in the main dining room. I didn't let that stop me though!
