Quaoar?

No offense intended to the Tongva people, but I wish scientists could have come up with a slightly more pronounceable name for the new planetoid on the block. “Quaoar” is such an open-mouthed wa-wa kind of name.

Oh well, I suppose it’s better than “Uranus.”

    Funny how some languages are heavy on the vowels and others on the consonants. I’m convinced that the Irish have been downtrodden for so many centuries is that they never learned how to spell sensibly.
