IE5/Mac CSS workarounds

IE5/Mac users, some feedback, please: how do indexes 4, 15, 17, 20, and 27 look? Any misaligned graphics? Is the navigation text still getting spaced wrongly? Thanks.

They all look good on IE 5.1 under OS 9.1. I would assume that they would look good on IE 5.2 under OS X but I’ll have to check it later.

    They all look good.

Index 15’s contents, however, seems to be flushed to the right. So extending the browser window causes both the navigation and the blog columns to “stick” with the window’s right margin.

I don’t know if this is your intention but it sure doesn’t behave like the rest of the indexes.

  3. Paulo says:

Yes, that was my intention for Index15. Index27 is also stuck to the right. What worries me is that the old Index15 menu would get bumped down at lower resolutions. It shouldn’t be doing that anymore.

One more thing I noticed (picky, picky, hehe) is that index15.jpg is stretched. Its width in the code is 572 when it should be 527. Makes your arm hair look extra fuzzy. :P

  5. Paulo says:

Holy crap, you’re right. That index has been up for almost a year now, and I never noticed it. Fixed na. And I left-aligned it.
