Ah, summer: season of hot, humid, unstable atmospheric conditions producing “Whoa Holy Crap” type thunderstorms, such as last night’s lightning-fest. We had a similarly violent storm just over a year ago, when I had my camera pointed out the window to catch the pyrotechnics.
