It turns out that Diane Duane, author/co-author of two of my favoritest Star Trek novels: The Wounded Sky and The Romulan Way — and also co-author of Keeper of the City, hands-down best installment of the Guardians of the Three fantasy series — has her own blog, where she writes about non-writing things. Amazing.
