Another Baptist Church

I found another Baptist church in the area, which I'm going to check out today: Lee Street Memorial Baptist, over in South Baltimore. They don't seem to have a website, and I'm wondering why the heck they're called "Lee Street Memorial" when they're over four blocks from Lee Street, at Light and Warren.
Maybe they started out on Lee Street. I wonder what our church will do if we ever outgrow our current building. We're named after the street we're on now.
Duane says we could go from "Auburn Avenue" to just "Auburn" but I don't think Pastor Wilkins would go for that. He hates Auburn - he's a 'Bama fan! :)
Yeah, my old church was called "Greenhills Christian Fellowship" even if they weren't in Greenhills anymore.
Heh. Sort of like the Roman Catholics. ;D
