Martha and Amelia are coming up on ten months of age now. They’re huge compared to when we first got them, and still growing, but cuddly and adorable as always. Pictures follow:

This was a kitten update I emailed to their foster mom and the adoption foundation, but I am reproducing it here in abridged form BECAUSE KITTENS:
First real accumulating snow came late this winter, starting deep into January of 2013. We got about a half inch. The cats were quite enthralled to watch from the bedroom window. Parts of the Georgetown waterfront were picturesque early in the day, though all the snow would melt and turn to muddied, slushy footprints later.
A week after adoption, Martha and Amelia are pretty well settled in. At the end of the first day, we introduced them to the rest of the place, along with various cat toys and scratching/biting implements we had purchased for them.
