The comments needed for trackback autodiscovery should only be there when a post is being displayed by itself, not when it&#039;s part of the front page (or an archive page, or a category page, or search results, or whatever). The templates should wrap the trackback comment in an &quot;if (is_single()) {&quot; or something (which is what I do on DCDL).
