Both my son (12) and daughter (9) were tooling around in under a minute on a Segway. I tried it too. It is really easy.

I understand its pretty hard to operate a Segway that hasn’t been turned on!

That might be too obtuse a comment for poor Hesiod: the Segway the President fell from was not turned on… no juice, no self balance.. OK?

After the first 5 seconds of trying to balance… the segway is really, really easy to ride. You just have to realize that if you try to balance on your own, you end up fighting the thing and it doesn’t work.

There’s some lesson in there about liberal policies and messing with markets…
