From a MeFi thread on subway musicians, I have learned a ton of new things:

• I had never heard the word busker till today.
• New York subway doors are lethal.
• Singing Asian Jesus Man.
• "The New York Transit Authority: You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll stand clear of the closing doors, please..." (jonmc)
