Via BWG, a strange, mind-altering biblical reference: Luke 4:20. "Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down..." Does that and "420" ring a bell?
(Note: KJV renders it as "he closed the book." Safer, eh?)
No, it doesn't ring a bell but that is because I'm totally square. Care to explain?
Actually I didn't know either till I read Randall's blog entry. Apparently "420" is a euphemism for smoking pot, and the bible reference in the graffiti refers to Jesus "rolling up a scroll." Funny.
the Bible, out of context, can be quite funny.
