Forget Dope Wars; Taipan is where it all started! Anyone remember that classic PC game Taipan, where you play a seafaring trader, navigating the pirate-infested waters of Asia to make a profit on silk and arms and opium? Well, it looks like there's now a Windows Taipan, with all the fun graphics and flare of the original AppleIIc/MS-BASIC version. (Link via Chris Pirillo.)
