Jio has an interesting link on camgirls as web designers.
It's a thought that has occured to me several times in the past. Many of these ladies are indeed excellent web artists, and there's a lot of beautiful graphics work to be seen in the camgirl realm. (Maybe not always paradigms of bandwidth-friendly usability, and not always "by the book" in terms of balance, code, or composition; but that's what art is about, isn't it? ;)
Don't knock them, you boys in the business, and don't belittle their efforts or their work. Graphic art is the industry, and these girls are your up and coming talents. Watch them closely (hey, not that way, you lechers!), check out their sites, and keep track of their art, because one day, they may be designers on your team -- or even your managers.
(Oh, on a related note, there don't seem to be a whole lot of Pinoy webcammers out there. My cam's out of commission for the time being, but is there anyone else here in the Philippines with a regularly updating cam on his/her blog?)

ok, I'm not a cam girl, but I am a blog girl. I know my page isn't very pretty, but it's my first all-HTML page. I'll get better(hopefully). However, Jio seems to be saying that all cam/blog girls are airheads or popular girls. I disagree. I'm certainly not an airhead, and I'm certainly not popular. There are some cam/blog girls out there that are, but there are also plenty of others that are very individual. There are artsy girls, anime fans, computer nerds, sporty girls, dancers, animal lovers, etc. and so on, you get the idea. Anyway, just felt the need to defend them(and me). Correct me if I'm wrong. o_0
Define "regularly." Ours updates about two or three times a week for an hour or two each sitting. Does that count?
D - Don't be offended by it. The article (to me, anyway) is poking more fun at the realm of the preppy cam-and-wishlist blog girl who builds a whole life around her webpage. It's a nasty stereotype, though, and I have no wish to encourage it by labelling or gawking. I think we're all pretty well aware that none of them are airheads -- but rather, talented designers.

Sorry, if I overreacted a little there. :P But some of those pages are actually what inspired me to make mine. ^^ But I AM sorry if I overreacted a bit. >_<. And thanks for the encouragement. :)
Hee hee! And where do you think I get my inspiration for some of my blog-pages? *grin*
